Hiring process for freelancers via Futurepath for the Volkswagen Group
Send us a request to [email protected] with your requirements to start the process of finding a freelancer, ideally including any specifications and requirements you might already have.
After receiving and analyzing your request, we initiate a meeting where we discuss and clarify all needs, project specifications, and budget availability to understand all your requirements in detail. This will help us to target the right people who are available for the desired length and match their expectations.
We proceed by checking our existing Futurepath Tech Community, which we’ve established to have faster access to an ever-growing pool of potential talents when it’s needed. Our freelancer community consists of various tech talents which can be grouped into five core verticals:
If further searches are required, we continue with active sourcing for suitable freelance profiles and select the best matches.
Based on your requirements, we often not only carry out personal interviews with talents but conduct tech checks with our freelancers. During our tech checks, they go through peer-2-peer interview tech assessment to ensure their skills are what you’re looking for.
Once the match is found and you’re happy to hire a freelancer, we create an offer and conclude relevant agreements (e.g. service agreement and non-disclosure agreement) with the freelancer according to a predefined framework agreement that covers all relevant commercial and compliance topics. This simplifies and speeds up the process not only for the freelancer but also for you.
Onboarding and administrative alignments
Based on your preferred project start, we assist you with the onboarding and take care of the administrative alignment, including monthly invoicing. If any questions arise, our recruitment operations team remains your point of contact and assists you with any issues that appear throughout the freelancer’s employment.
